During my Magazine Design and Production course at Emerson College, I created a 44-page magazine from conception to the final print. The Ghouls Gazette is an elevated magazine about haunted locations and happenings in life, movies, and books. It features one state or region each issue with large featured locations, quick haunted locations, interviews, reviews, and more! This is meant to be used as a map to find haunted locations the reader may have never heard of before.

"The Secret Garden" Redesign
During my Book Design and Production course at Emerson College, I redesigned the covers and interior of "The Secret Garden" for reprint. I saw the out-dated and garden-gate oriented covers and wanted to stray away from those by creating a modern interpretation of a garden. On the interior of the book, I chose chapter art that summarized the contents of each chapter.

Book Cover Redesign Projects
During my Book Design and Production course at Emerson College, I had the opportunity to redesign covers for front-list and out-of-copyright books. I aimed to create covers that brought the overall feeling of the story onto the cover so the viewer could understand what the book is about without reading a description. I tried to use modern techniques that mimicked design styles of current front-list books.
